I would recommend the Eisley album. It is full of hooks, and the harmonies
are abundant and gorgeous. The songwriting is quite good. It is also
somewhat eclectic -- many songs are not your typical
verse/chorus/verse/chorus affairs. The overall effect of the lovely voices
and music is lyrical, romantic, full of wonder and magic -- sometimes naïve,
sometimes sophisticated. The three sisters that head the band harmonize in
a tight, intuitive way that usually only siblings do. It sounds like the
they have been singing together for years, and they probably have.

At times I was reminded a bit of early Kate Bush, i.e. piano based, unusual
melodies, phrasing, lyrics, themes, arrangements - but Kate is definitely an
acquired taste, there are those that love her and those that can't stomach
her - whereas I think Eisley's sound would be much more appealing to a
broader audience. I've only listened a few times, but I get the feeling
this is a CD that will keep getting better with every listen until it hits
my "one of the top CDs of the year" level.

An ambitious debut effort for a band that is for the most part in their
teens.
