And they're playing here in Columbus on my birthday this year - average seat
price = $110. I think I paid $5 to see them in Tuscaloosa AL in 1972.
In 1979 or so, I paid, with much angst, a scalped ticket price of 50$ to see
the Stones!!! At that time it seemed an absurd amount of money to see a
concert (to me anyway). Now it would be nose bleed seats at best.
Nothing has interested me much from them since "Tattoo You".

Who admits that he likes several songs from the rather maligned "Emotional
Rescue" and further admits to thinking the disco-ish title track is very
cool.
Finally, I just read and enjoyed Mike Bennett's thoughtful review of The
Doleful Lion's latest disc. I'm so looking forward to hearing this one!
