How about Triumph with Yngwie Malmsteen and Mountain and the
Meadowlands...like 1987, sold out. Could Triumph sell out a Best Buy
parking lot anymore?
Or even 38 Special headlining the Meadowlands with Bon Jovi opening,
never minding the fact that Jovi in 1987 were the hottest act on the
planet. I'd swear that once Jovi finished their set, like 2/3 of the
place left, leaving 38 Special to play to about 6000 people (down from
17,000).
