Hi Alan---
Yeah, I'm hitting 49 tomorrow and had one of the "oldest in the room"
feelings when Libby and saw SLOAN ten days ago in SF. I looked around
for someone grayer than me and couldn't find one. I just took it that I
was the oldest with the best taste in music!
Today I went to the DMV to renew my driver's license. The woman behind
the counter asked if there were any changes to be made with height,
weight, etc. I've added about 10 pounds in the last 12 years, so I told
her that. Then she typed up the temp license and told me to check over
all the details. When I sighed at the hair color she designated for me
"GRY", she said "Yeah, I know, but at least you've got hair."
I can safely say that at the DMV, I was NOT the oldest guy in the room.
Now if only they had cool bands play there...
