Don't buy it. I'm SHOCKED, and I should not be working in the industry for
two decades now, that this system went forward. It works like SHIT. For
example, new Springsteen dual-disc. I Bought it.

Put in my car stereo, a 2002 Volvo....played. For two songs, had to drop off
the kids. Stopped the car. Started it back up. "ERROR". Every time,
every time. Each day since. My Work CD player. Bought: 2003, has played
literally countless THOUSANDS of different CD's. Can't read it, will not
play. Back up WORK cd player, bought 2001, in the other room? "will not
play".

Let's go home: HOME CD player, Bought: 1998, a trooper of a player,
carousel player. Will not play.

I had read about all the problem w/ the format, figured I'd get one to work.

It's at home right now, need to see if it will play on my computers, both
MACS at home and work still.

But how frigging dare an artist like Springsteen allow this to happen on his
music. I know Sony does not care about the music, that's a given(and why
our industry is in the toilot.......witness, too, the fact that the Warner
Brothers IPO bombed the other day on Wall St.) but artists and their
managers need to be held responsible for allowing this to go forward.

Go to Amazon and read the posts there on the Springsteen cd, Devil& Dust.

Pa-frigging-thetic.
