Yes, I think I was the second oldest person in the crowd at the
Lucksmiths show in NYC this week. (Ladybug Transistor leader Gary
Olson's mom was right behind me.) But you know what? Other than the
fact that my feet were killing me by the time the second of four bands
hit the stage, I didn't give a shit. I got right up in front under Tali
White's nose. Maybe it helps that I look younger than I am so I'm less
self-conscious.
Don't get me wrong -- I do remember when I was younger and there'd be
some old geezer 40 year old grooving along how out of place it looked.
But now that I'm hitting that landmark myself in a few months, I can't
see it ever bothering me enough to keep me away from a show. Now my
feet, that's another story . . .

P.S. Brian Wilson was a nice change of pace in this regard.
