well.... it's a fantastic concept - perfect for re-issuing all your
fave albums all over again, now, in addition to remastering, expanded
and/or original packaging, bonus tracks - you have old footage,
pictures, and all kinds of other stuff (good move marketing folks)...
the new Springsteen is pretty cool in what's possible - altho, NOTE:
if you want to see his intros to the songs on the DVD side, you have
to play the video straight through - if you skip ahead, it goes
straight to the music.... in canada, it's a cd + DVD package as
opposed to dual disc, or maybe that's all they had where i bought
it....
anyway, as soon as the mfg price goes down, it's a real temptation to
go dualdisc on future releases especially
if acts have video footage and extras worth (key word) going to dualdisc for...
CDs have had Enhanced content for a while but, as i just found out,
if you're an OSX user, some old
enhanced content from some 90s discs won't play on OSX unless you
have the Classic environment installed also
(anything that exists as a Director player format)
