You paid 82 clams for tix for acts who've sold one
gazillionth of what Macca has sold.  Once you see what
scalpers and brokers can charge for tickets, you'll
see the true market value of his tickets.  

Really, this is a debate where no one is wrong. 
Generally, I'd be on the side of more VFM.  However, I
was kicking myself for missing McCartney the last time
around, and snagged a pair of $250 seats.  Jaime made
a great point about how it always seems like the last
time would be...the last time.  This may or may not be
Paulie's last tour, but I have to see him at least
once, so I'm willing to overpay.  

By comparison, I paid $70 to see Tom Waits six years
ago, $82 for Brian Wilson last year, $52.50 for Bulls
playoff tickets the first two games of the series, and
a bit over $80 for a preview of Spamalot.  So this is
fairly out of my price range, but again, for this one
time, it's worth it to me.
