Yesss! Finally someone else preachin' the gospel that I've been
foisting on y'all for the past several years.

Though we've been quiet for a while, we plan on having at least a couple
of shows in MyDiningRoom this summer.

With BBQ, beer, and band, the budget rarely reaches quite as high as
Mick suggests. Plus we get some of it back from the audience. Plus the
kids are motivated to practice for their music lessons (hell, my son now
takes lessons with Kurt of The Grip Weeds). Plus we can dance in the
kitchen (sorry for the scary visual). Plus we can see the band without
a big screen. Plus we can tailor the sound to the room and the
audience. Plus if there's a line for the bathroom, we can go upstairs.
Plus the kids can play on the swings during the show.

OK, I've said my piece.

Even with all that, it was cheaper to pay $135 to take my wife and 2 of
the kids to see The Bobs in Trenton last month than it was to have them
sing at our home (but, oh, the memories...).
