First, another kudos for Josh's writing. In today's
everybody-with-a-keyboard-is-a-writer world there's far too much rubbish and
not enough readable material, but I enjoyed every word. Nice work, pal.

Second - and here's some shoddy writing for you - I was channel surfing a
week or so ago and there was a block of shows on either Bravo or Trio (the
latter, I believe) whose name I forget, but they were essentially themed
storytelling circles with some famous and non-famous people. One was about
rock and roll and featured Thomas Dolby and Joe Jackson. (A woman whose name
I forget stole the show with a Joey Ramone story, but I digress...)
Jackson's tale of his early jazz band gigs in rough pubs was hilarious -
perhaps that's the one he's working into these Todd/Joe shows? He's always
been as sharp as a tack, and if he quit playing I'd still pay to hear him
spin yarns if he was up to it.

Todd's LIARS tour was one of the oddest shows I've ever seen. I'll have to
check out that DVD.

cheers
b
