Josh,
  Both the Joe Jackson releases you mentioned are essential.My very favorite 
is "Body and Soul".I think you would enjoy that one.As far as I am concerned 
that was the album where everything fell into place and Joe really advanced 
his sound.Plus it has that terrific "Blue Note" cover.If you follow Elvis 
Costello this is his "Imperial Bedroom."There are others I can recommend 
,but do check that one out.
