Hey Mark and anyone else.....
Does any one know if The Neighborhoods are going to do a proper compilation
of their work, ESPECIALLY their early work, 1979-1981(including the classic
Ace Of Hearts "Prettiest Girl/No Place Like Home" single gathered up
together)> this is so INCREDIBLY long overdue, it's just perplexing why
there has not been one, they recorded lots of demos and the live stuff
during that time incendiary.
The material they recorded after this period is good to very good, a few
songs incredible, but their early period remains vital for any fan of
pop-bordering-on-punk of this time period. I had the major pleasure of
seeing them a handful of times during these years and the trio were tight,
tight, tight!
Always wanted to drop Minehan a line and find out the reason why there's
been nothing on their front w/ their early material.....
If anyone knows anything, let me know!
