A real shame, the guy was kind of a local legend in Lousiana and Texas, 
scored lots of regional hits here, and gave Shreveport's Paula records 
thier one and only #1 Pop hit.

The strange thing is his obituary said "Judy in Disguise" was recorded 
in New Orleans, but Robin Hood Brians, who runs Robin Hood Studios in 
Tyler TX (where The Five Americans, Mouse & The Traps, John & Robin and 
ZZ Top recorded) told me via-email a few years ago he recorded it there.
