John Fred and his Playboy Band... I still have the 45 somewhere of "Judy in Disguise" somewhere.  Maybe I'll give it a spin in his memory.  If I can find a working turntable!

John Fred (John Gourrier) (of "Judy In Disguise" fame) has died, age 63.
He had a kidney transplant seven months ago, two months after that he had
another operation to remove his old kidneys, and that's when things went
wrong. He had basically been in and out of the hospital since then.
