Craig asks about Marti Jones.
I saw her perform with Dixon just a couple of weeks ago at the Ram's Head in Annapolis. She doesn't get out much these days. She kidded that she was going to have tour shirts printed up, but they would only show two stops - Santa Monica and Annapolis. Their shy daughter was called up to help out on harmonica for one song, her stage debut.
The show was wonderful and informal. Marti played many favorites, and Dixon did several songs from his forthcoming album. Each song is about a room!

P.S. - Speaking of Annapolis, Starbelly is playing a rare New York City gig at the Bowery Poetry Club this Saturday at around 11:15 P.M. It will be a night of Annapolis performers, and a bus was hired to take the locals up to the Big Apple.
