Hi Everybody,
Just wanted to let you know that I am playing solo this year at
Sparklefest
Saturday night. I go on at 7:25 pm. Also I'll be playing the in-store
at CD
ALLEY on Friday evening at about 6 pm. So those of you in the Chapel
Hill
area please try to come early both nights. I've got lots of new songs
and a
few covers that I've worked up.
To celebrate my solo trip to Sparklefest this year I put together a 6
song
e.p. featuring one song that I recorded with Mike Nicholson back in
November
titled "Leave Her Alone", along with 5 tracks from my new studio. I
will
have copies for sale at Sparklefest but for those of you who can't make
it
I've got a link on my site to sell it through PAYPAL at the moment. For
$5
you will be emailed a username and password along with a secure link to
access the high quality (256 K) mp3's as well as the PDF artwork. So
its
almost instant gratification!!! If all goes as planned I will be
releasing 2
more e.p.'s by the end of the year with the hope of a full length some
time

In other news the song "Sad Golden Waves Goodbye" from These Stars Are

You will be featured in the next Dawson's Creek DVD release (Season 5).
I
don't have too many details yet except that the release date is May
3rd.
Because of the low numbers of cds that we have left Jim Huie over at
Paisley
Pop has tentatively agreed to reprint the cd with several bonus tracks
including alternate mixes, live recordings, and rehearsal recordings. I
am
very excited about this. More info to come.
