Also new as of this morning: the new Mountain Goats album (not even
out in stores until next week, I think) and, handily, that new Yo La
Tengo best-of. Handy because it means I can get the third disc of
outtakes and rarities without having to repurchase all the songs on
discs one and two, which I already have.
However, thinking back about that YLT thread from a while back, this
three-disc set, PRISONERS OF LOVE, is an excellent overview of the
band for those unfamiliar with their rather enormous catalogue.
