... Yes... Ft. Lauderdale, Fla's Office Depot Center... Great building...
acoustics could be better... So far have seen there...Elton, Simon &
Garfunkel & McCartney's 2000 tour and in two cases the echo & bass made for
a not so perfect acoustic atmosphere imho... I do remember, however,
McCartney's concert sounding a bit better... Could it have been the nimble
hands of a great sound engineer or maybe my seats were better?... This is
why I enjoy more intimate venues such as Miami's James L. Knight Center...
but then again the seating capacity is limited for massive events such as
McCartney & Elton... So I guess we just have to bite the bullet and just try
to enjoy the evening the best we can despite of the sound misgivings...
