One of my favorite things about IPO is the covers people pick. Love Candy
did a great "Happy Together" that had everybody singing along. Wendy Ip did
"Helter Skelter." The Tearaways did "I Want You To Want Me." Davey
Johnstone's kid did "Hold Me Now," which was really wild. And in one of the
most astonishing things I've ever seen, King Radio did a stunning version
of The Bee Gees' "To Love Somebody" that left me slackjawed.
I was just thinking this week how for as much as I've enjoyed these songs
and so many more performances at IPO, I've never heard my favorite song played.
So I will be attending the shows April 22, 23 and 24. I dare somebody to do
"Go Now." (The Moody Blues) I double dare ya. I DOUBLE DOG dare ya.

It's just words." -- Doug Stanhope
