The Curb CD '21 Hits" has 7 tracks from "Crazy Horses" on it with good
remastering -

I have two copies (good but not mint shape) of "Crazy Horses" that look
like they were pressed at 2 different record plants, and they both
suffer from tinny mastering - MGM was one of the worst major companies
in thier mastering and cheap pressings.. But I agree with Micheal and
Joe its thier best album. Kudos to Mike Curb for letting the group
write/produce/play almost everything on it and also "The Plan" - which I
think is overated by thier fans.
Also worth finding is the album before it "Part 3" whas the great "My
Drum" and a fun R&B track called "Business" thats good for mix tape/CD
surprising. And the groups pre-MGM tracks on Columbia, UNI and Barnaby
are worth seeking out. They tried surf and soft pop before settling on
bubblegum

I don't know if I've thrown it out there before on this list but listening to the early Osmond material like "Crazy Horses" gives me the impression that this is where KISS got there sound from. Coincidence? I mentioned this on the air and "oh my gosh" - the Kiss Army called me up non stop for almost thirty minutes. You'd think that I was political talk show host trying to tick off the audience to stir calls. KISS fans didn't think it was in the least bit funny. Seriously listen to those rock songs from The!
