Best album of the year so far:
Aslyn - Lemon Love.
Outstanding production. Great songs.
HOLY CRAP!
This girl from Atlanta can sing, write and play piano with conviction and talent
rivaling someone far beyond her years. You would swear Andy Sturmer had something
to do with this, but I don't know anyone on the disc.
"Just Enough", which is probably one of my favorite songs of the year, so far, sounds very Jelly-esque.

What a voice. Very similiar to Kay Hanley, from Letters To Cleo(whom I greatly admire).
I got a 2 song demo last year and was so blown away I kept going back to my local record store
to inquire when the disc would be released. It is finally out. And it's smashing.
Go to her myspace site and listen to the songs.

Very little of it sounds like a "teen pop-star", apart from the single "Be The Girl", which , imo,
still has a great hook and decent playing. But it's songs like "Wally" with it's Ben-Foldsian riff
and Powerful chorus, or "Gotta Get Over You" full of great lyrics, harmonies,
and sleigh bells, that keep this in my ipod. In stores now.
Try it. You'll like it.
I Love it.
