"Non-pop" is highly debatable, but it was my own #6 for the year.
Sylvie Lewis' TANGOS AND TANTRUMS is #1 for me so far, and I've just
turned Micahel Roux onto it as well, so that might be a second vote.
The new Decemberists is their best so far, the new Architecture In
Helsinki is a huge step up from their debut, loving the Lovethugs'
BABYLON FADING and I'm still enjoying the heck out of the Kaiser
Chiefs' EMERGENCY, the single from which, "I Predict A Riot," is vying
with the Killers' "Mr. Brightside" and the new Hot Hot Heat single
"Goodnight Goodnight" as the main reason why I'm enjoying listening to
the radio so much right now.
