Hey guys, it's Linus (Of Hollywood) here. I haven't posted in a long time,
but I read my Audities digest as often as I can, and it's always enjoyable!
I am hoping to get my new record out soon...I'm thinking of naming it
"Chinese Democracy". haha.
But seriously folks, my friend Roger (Joseph Manning, Jr.) asked me to
forward this message to any fan or industry forums, so I figured this is as
good a place as any.
I don't think I need to explain to anyone on this list who Roger is, but
just in case, he was a founding member of Jellyfish, Moog Cookbook and
Imperial Drag, as well as a member of Beck's band, and Air. He has a new
MIND BLOWING solo album that he is shopping to labels...I'm sure many of you
may have already downloaded it from Weed. So, without further ado, I've
pasted his message below.

<<< Dear family and friends, believe it or not after four years in the
making I am finally announcing the release of my 11 song solo record,
"Solid State Warrior." As I continue to shop for foreign & domestic
companies to release this work, I am only releasing
"teaser" edited versions of the record to EVERYBODY interested in
hearing it at this time. Please don't take offense to this action as I
am desperately trying to maintain some kind of piracy control, which is
obviously crucial for an independent/smaller release such as this.
There is another option to get my music though - I've released "Solid State
Warrior" in Weed format! Weed lets you hear each song three times for free,
and then you can buy the songs if you so choose. After you buy the Weed
files, you are then encouraged to share them with friends, fans, and family

everyone! Weed is PC only for now - the Mac client will be out in May...
I'd like to also take this opportunity to thank all of you for your
patience, encouragement, and faith during the making of this album.
Given the opportunity there will be many more albums to follow.
Artwork, videos, and a website are all coming up over the next few
