I know this may sound a bit morbose but there is a website that tracks celebrities and confirms if they are dead or alive...

I guess if one wants to check the existential "status" of any musician/singer its a good resource... The other useful information it provides is their dates of birth and current age... Oh well... if it exists the internet's got it right?... Guess I've seen it all now...
