IPO Chicago April 15-30; Sparklefest April 22/23; Dewey Beach Popfest April
29/30 - what's a person to do? I wish I was free of all responsibilities
for the later half of the month (job, family concerns, etc.), and I would do
it all!

I listened to Bully by Sugarbomb once or twice when it came out a few years
ago, and was mostly lukewarmed by it. Gave it another shot last week and it
is now in rotation on the changer, and I am quite digging it. Good piece of
work! Have they done anything else?

I like Ivy. Reminds me of Astrid G, breezy, sexy.

I also like the Counting Crows' song on the Shrek 2 soundtrack. My 3 year
old plays a Disney comp often, and this track is a highlight for me. It's
very pop, very fun, very good.

Just saw the Manchurian Candidate on DVD the other night, good flick. Was
surprised to hear Fountains of Wayne doing the Kinks' Better Things during
the climax of the movie - very cool. Great band, great song by an even
greater band (in fact, one of the all time greats in my book, right up there
with the Who, the Beatles, the Beach Boys - why are the Kinks the Rodney
Dangerfield of pop?)

Signing out,
Dave
