In the past few years, I have been hearing more and more of these "mashups",
particularly by the Soulwax DJs and Fatboy Slim (and I am sure quite a few
others, such as the DJ who did these Beastie Boy/Beatles mixes). I confess
that I am completely ignorant on how they do this. Are they done on
traditional DJ equipment, such as mixers and turntables, or are they done on
PCs using audio manipulation software? Or a combination of both? Can
anyone shed any light on the process?

Thanks,
Mark E.
