There have been several EastWest labels over the years, but the
current EastWest Records America label is part of the Atlantic
family, or distributed via the Atlantic division of Warner Music
Group. I believe the label is based out of the NY office. They've
had artists like Missy Elliot and Simply Red and -- were the
Rembrandts on East West?? I think Nan Vernon (she's on a few
Del-Fi comps) had a cd out on East West, when it was called
something like East/West. There's probably tons about all of this
online, just "Google" it...
