Ho fellow pop-meisters, this is directed mainly at Chicagoans
Currently thinking about making the annual pilgrimage to Chicago in April
(15th to 25th) for Ch-IPO. I've been over for the past 3 years (love the
city to bits). This time in a huge break-the-bank moment of madness, I've
decided to bring the wife (Janice) and the kids (Zoe, 6 and Sarah, 4).
Do any of you know what cool things there are for kids of that age in
Chicago? I am guessing the museums are kid friendly, there will be play
areas in public parks and I know there's Lincoln Park Zoo. I suppose I am
looking for any other activities, child friendly restaurants, child
friendly bars(if there are any!) etc.
Also, has Chicago gone the way of New York and LA and outlawed smoking in
bars, restaurants etc? It wouldn't bother me, cos I gave up last year, but
it would be nice for Janice and the kids if bars and restaurants are smoke
free.
