I know Legacy released an anthology/box set of Philadelphia International
records a few years back, but I can't recall its title. However, I have a
great single Greatest Hits CD put out by Legacy titled 'Philly Super Soul
Hits' that probably contains most of the best known material. It contains
all the major hits by the O'Jays, Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes, MFSB,
Billy Paul, The Intruders and The Three Degrees. Great stuff indeed.

have pretty diverse record collections. So I am asking for some guidance
regarding The Sound of Philadelphia (TSOP).

and realized that I knew so many of the classic songs they talked about, but
how I didn't own many at all. I figure that there must be a good collection
and wanted to ask if you folks could recommend one.
