Please, no biting... :)
It's a song about cannibalism. A trip that went very wrong and Timothy is
somehow "missing". Well, unless we except the more PG-13 rated version of it
being about eating their animal friend, that was with them on the trip.
Oddly enough, I just had big time misadventure this week-end on a solo cabin
adventure with my dog up north...my car slid on a icy road and I ended up
stuck in a ditch, the heat in the freezing cabin didn't work (the dog's
water dish even froze over), with little food, a scary long night
indeed....I wish I were kidding).
I didn't resort to eating my dog, I'm happy to report.
