I remember both bands well, Jim. In fact, the Impossible Years and extended their crew became among our first more experienced supporters/advisors. All good guys!
Re: The Johnsons - I always liked Mike Morrison and his guitar playing. I wasn't as hot on the band as so many people are and were, but Mike was well worth the price of admission.
Any old Philly pholks remember Persian Gulf? I thought they did some real good stuff.
