That's hilarious - I know I saw the same tour a day or so apart (Rochester
NY/Toronto...early 1980s). The crowd wasn't even paying attention to Split
Enz, who were great, even when Tim was doing handsprings across the stage.
And Petty was so high (or drunk?) that he just giggled to himself as he
stumbled about and botched chord changes. Of course, the crowd loved it; I
was pissed at him for years.
