1983. About a year after seeing REM open for Squeeze...

Let's Active opens for REM -  I think REM must have been touring just 
before their 2nd LP.

Fave memory of the night was Let's Active returning for their umpteenth 
encore and breaking out a cover of The Knickerbocker's Lies. Let's 
Active blew me away (REM were *still* mumbly!) and it was only after 
seeing them live that I went out and discovered the joys of that first 
E.
