Funniest movie role, ever, with Moranis in it was his take as a vertically
challenged Darth Vader in the Mel Brooks groaner "Spaceballs". The movie had
two truly funny scenes in it....both featuring Moranis as "Big Helmet".

I don't know that I'd use the word "hilarious" for 'Strange Brew'. If you're
Canadian it's quite self-reverential -- which I always felt made it funnier
than it really was to, say, somebody from Scotland. 'Strange Brew' is truly
Canadian whereas Mike Myers was able to take something like his Canadian
experiences as a teenager and make the situations more universally
appealling in "Wayne's World" (i.e. Stan Mikita donuts was Tim Horton's
donuts moved to Illinois).
Still, Bob & Doug's album "The Great White North" on Anthem WAS truly
funny....taking the best parts of the TV skits and adding an element of
improv.

Our latest hilarity is called "This Hour Has 22 Minutes"....very Canadian
politics-based, but undeniably brilliant week after week (it's like the
Royal Canadian Air Farce for MY generation!).
