Watching the season one DVDs made me nostalgic enough to pick up Dave
Thomas' book about SCTV through Amazon: apparently, the story is that
Ramis simply preferred being a writer/producer to being onscreen, and
when he got the chance to move to L.A. and do that, he took it. Can't
really blame the guy.
What, no love for Tom Monroe? "Turning Japanese, I think I'm turning
Japanese..."
