How about these:

Howie Mandel opening for Segarini (circa '78/79)
Jim Carrey opening for Goddo in Barrie, Ontario. He was booked for two 
nights. Got booed off the stage on the first night and didn't return for the 
second show. Godovitz, the band's leader, berated the crowd, paid Carrey 
$200 and the rest is history.
