I was at that show. I remember a friend of mine getting escorted out by
one of the ushers because they spotted him taping Focus!!!! that guy got
busted all the time for taping.

Back in the old days...

Woody Herman opening for the Who, 1969
Cecil Taylor opening for the Yardbirds, '68


later.... Tom Petty Opening for Be Bop Deluxe
The Jam also opened for Bebop
Twilly opening for the Jam at a "midnight show" after Roxy Music, 1979
