hey, pop-lovers...
i've been moved by the spirit to give a "shout out" to the new band,
Jackdaw4. their cd, Gramophone Logic, hit my #1 spot on arrival.
anyone still mourning our dearly departed Jellyfish will be doing
themselves a grave disservice by ignoring this album.
like J-fish, Jackdaw4 cooks with the best of the Beatles, stirring in
spices that could have been stolen from the pantries of lesser-known
acts like Stonecake.
if track 7, "Deep and Meaningless," isn't just the biggest rock of
ear-crack to get you off the sofa and set you dancing, then check your
pulse: you may be dead.
all i can say is Wow!
i picked up my copy from bruce at notlame.com and i've already written
him a thank-you note!
