As much as I love and appreciate Pro-Tools, it is a sad day indeed to witness the demise of Muscle Shoals studio... There is not one record collector in the world that doesn't have at least 1 album with MS listed on the credits as the recording source... As we move and delve further into more technology I can't help but wonder what a couple of generations down the road will be recording on and if they'll remember a time when musicians and producers would actually meet in a studio full of vibe such as MS to record albums no Pro-Tools could ever emulate... Makes me think of another funky local outfit, Criteria Studios...
