Actually, the Chi-Lites albums have been reissued, in a way. Edsel has put
together two packages, "Complete Chi-Lites On Brunswick Records", Volumes 1
& 2, which are comprised of all of the Chi-Lites albums through the mid-70s.
As was Brunswick's wont, several of the original Chi-Lites albums doubled up
on some tracks, and this doubling has been eliminated on these Edsel comps,
which kinda compromises the flow. Having said that, these comps are
definitely the way to go if you want to get as close as possible to straight
reissues of the albums.
