I wonder if Gary Stewart, formerly the head VP of A&R at
Rhino and currently Apple's Music Director, had anything to
do with picking the Caesars??

This is from HITS:

CAESARS SOLID: The latest lucky band to get the Steve Jobs
treatment is Swedish quartet the Caesars, whose infectious
"Jerk It Out" is airing nonstop in TV spots for the iPod Shuffle.
The track was culled from the band's 2003 Astralwerks album,
39 Minutes of Bliss, and a punched-up mix of the track will
appear on the follow-up, Paper Tigers, which streets April 26.
Download sales have doubled in each of the last three weeks,
hitting 8,246 in the latest weekly tally. That's enough to make
"Jerk It Out" Top 15 on the iTunes singles chart and #38 on
the recently adjusted Billboard chart. The band can thank
EMI's film and TV department, which serviced the track, for
the unexpected windfall. But you've gotta admit, that Jobs dude
has a good ear. (2/17)
