Except the timbre of the solo in My Love is grating and the timbre of the solo in Something is gorgeous.

Subject: My Love solo
<<Funnily enough, just a few hours ago, I was reading the earlier part
of this thread and I thought, "Now, how does that solo go? Oh,
right...<hums solo to self>...no, wait, that's the solo on
'Something.' How the hell did the solo on 'My Love' go? Although now
that I think of it, you could plop the 'Something' solo right down in
the middle of 'My Love' and it would make perfect sense...">>
I can play back the My Love solo in my head note for note, even though I
haven't heard it in a long while. Which to me is the sign of a good melodic
solo!
