I've had the privilege of hosting Pat once, as has my brother.  Pat's a great guy and puts on a great show.  The second time we saw him (at my brother's house), he even performed my request, "White Castle Blues", which he didn't write, nor did he remember all of the lyrics, so the audience helped.  My sister-in-law also got the chance to sing with him on a song (at my home).  His show was the inspiration for the ongoing house-concert series at our home.

PS - I too saw The Smithereens at The Chestnut Cabaret.  Great show, great venue (RIP).
