One of my favorite stories regarding this topic, is what happened to
a friend of mine, who used to scavenge for records at yard sales and
such. He was told about someone in Vermont who claimed to have
100,000 LPs for sale. Yeah, right, he thought. Well, he gets up
there, and sure enough there really are that many records. They are
all in a barn, stacked flat on top of each others (in their covers),
in piles 6 feet or higher! So he's trying to pick his way through
the mess, and accidently bumps into one of the piles, and it goes
crashing down on the floor. He starts to apologize to the seller,
but the seller waves off. "Don't worry about that", he says, "I do
that all the time!" ;)
