When I go up and do my radio show, I get some funny looks and a lot of
jokes about the records spinning on the turn tables. I couldn't do a
show with out records. We have two turn tables here at home, and three
record collections! One is the thrift shop catch all.

Now, I have augmented, not replaced a lot of my vinyl with cds, but I've
wised up to the constant reissues. I try and buy stuff used, which isn't
too hard. I do a good business on half.com moving out the old versions
and things I don't like, or bought by accident!

I can't see putting the albums on cd. It takes too long. I have been
digging through the tape collection and finding stuff that I might want
to listen to, and fix it up to cd. It takes me two days, then you have
to make a cover so it doesn't get lost in the piles of un marked cdrs..

I've always recorded my radio show. I finally started burning cds which
is fantastic. I'll have a dresser full of cds before too long..

So I always have "mix" tapes/cds with out much extra work, and I can
hear all those great singles, if I just play them on a show.
