Maybe I was ahead of the curve, but with the exception of  Especially For
You and Green Thoughts, my original purchases of all the Smithereens
releases were on CD.  If I remember correctly, starting with 11, both vinyl
and CD formats were released.  It took a few years, but I did go back and
replace the vinyl copies of Especially for You and Green Thoughts with the
CD versions.

However, your theory may be correct, as I never did replace any of my Stray
Cats vinyl releases with the CD reissues.  It could be that my appreciation
of them was pretty short lived and the Smithereens catalogue holds up a lot
better a few years down the road.

It would be interesting to see how many other Audites members have vinyl
copies of releases that they chose not to update to the CD format.
