I have always loved The Smithereens.  "Especially For You" is still one of my all-time favorite albums.   Just a classic.   I remember seeing them at the old Chestnut Cabaret in Philadelphia and thinking that they were just the coolest band.  Always an excellent live band, too.

Their cover of The Beatles "One After 909" is still a favorite.

Has anyone here ever attended one of Pat DiNizio's House Concerts?  I was curious what they were like.
