First, I'm not asking for the best Power Pop CD of all time (We all know
it's "Especially For You" anyway) :-) But I want to send a couple of discs
to a Silver Sun fan that might expose him to more power pop stuff. He likes
harmonies, but I don't want to lose him with a "wimpy" selection. I can
safely assume that he's aware of the bigger commercial releases in the
genre.
He hasn't heard the Merrymakers, but I'm not sure that has enough
"muscle" to impress a Silver Sun fan. He already knows Redd Kross (my usual
"go-to" band in this situation). What are some suggestions out there? I'm
currently leaning toward The Semantics, but I'm sure I'm forgetting some
good choices.

default - I can't get enough of it!)
