Hi Everyone,
In light of all the posts grousing about the high prices for U2 et al.
shows, it seems like the perfect time for me to present the IPO Nashville
schedule! The dates of IPO Nashville are March 9-15, with all the shows to
be held at a great rock venue called The End.
At $8 a show, you're really getting quite the bargain. I mean, in the
aggregate, you have to admit that each bill is easily better than 1/12th as
good as U2 (whose average ticket price is apparently $100)...plus, you get
three hours of music!
Seriously, I do hope more Auditeers attend International Pop Overthrow.
Several of the CDs which placed in the Audities top 50 are by artists who
have been playing IPO for a long time, and I feel confident that there are
many IPO treasures to be discovered. I'm not going to claim that you'll
like every band, but I have no doubt that there will be enough artists on
each bill to make IPO worth your while.
