Same here, Mickster! Well, except for the Oz greetngs and the CD back
up copy.
All down the line I feel the same. Loved Game Theory in all
incarnations, and there were more than a few. Same as Mickster I never
quite got as wholly into the Louds ...dunno why. All the elements are
indeed there. Thought it was just me. "Big Shot Chronicles" remains my
personal fave as well. "Real Nightime" a close second.
Yep Roc are indeedily becoming one HECKUVA label are they not. I too
hope they can keep up the steam and don't tank out ala Alias. Rainbow
Quartz is another fab label. Heh, I got a pal into buying from them
simply on spec. Turned him on The Shazam, Rock Four, Myracle Brah and
The Telepathic Butterflies and now he's giving me inside tips. I've
personally yet to hear a band on that label I don't like ...let alone
can't stand or wouldn't give a second shot.
This week's obsession, same as last week's. The Neighborhoods' "High
Hard One." Man were they an excellent band!

hey everyone,
my fave game theory album, by a long shot, remains "big shot
chronicles"!!
great, great album from beginning to end!!
t'was the first album i felt compelled to buy a cd back up copy (got
the
alias cd for the bonus tracks too i suppose)!!
speaking of alias records; from here i get the feeling that YEP ROCK
are
building a similar label....hope they keep at it!!
other fave game theory albums after big shot would be "three steps from
the
middle ages", then "lolita nation"...
never found the same pleasure in the loud family releases.....pity!!
all the best from oz,
mickster
